My prior experience with technology is pretty vague.... I'm really not into all the high tech "stuff". Growing up my family was not able to afford a computer until I was in middle school. As I got older I've learned to use the computer for leisure, banking, shopping, and school work.
What I hope to learn in this class is how to incorporate technology into my future classroom. I would like to learn more about using power point,and outlook. I will also like to learn more about incorporating technology into my classroom. Although I will be dealing with second graders, I will like them to be more exposed to technology, than I was.
What I learned about blogs is how they work and their purpose. I was able to start my own blog. I'm starting to realize that I want to be more exposed to technology, so I will be able to keep up with my future students and they don't think of me as a dinosaur when it regards technology. What I learned about my learning style is that I'm a bit in the middle. I noticed that I'm pretty balanced, which is unusual. The test also showed that I'm more of a visual person versus anything else.

See if you can toss up some comments about your learning style before the next class.
Even if you work with 2nd graders, you can use technology in different ways. Some teachers use technology to help them teach, others use technology to just make their job easier. They have all these different phrases for the ways technology gets connected to teaching. I'll have to show them to everyone sometime. They are probably in our book.
